The Significance and Essence of the IMCLDC Corporate Logo

The corporate logo of the Integrated Muslim Christian Lumad Development Corporation (IMCLDC) visually represents the organization’s deep commitment to its values, goals, and mission in serving the community.

The three heads symbolize the diversity, versatility, and resilience of the Tri-people of Mindanao: the Muslim, Christian, and Lumad communities. They are depicted in synchronized backward gazes, signifying their collective respect for history, ancestral traditions, and cultural origins.

The three colors reflect Mindanao’s cultural identity:

  • 🟢 Green represents the Muslim community, associated with hope and growth. It reflects the selfless initiative of the Muslims who laid the foundation of the corporation, aiming to promote harmony and peace for generations to come.

  • 🔵 Blue symbolizes the Christian community, embodying warmth, joy, and the spirit of inclusivity and solidarity nurtured by IMCLDC.

  • 🔷Light blue represents the Lumad, highlighting IMCLDC’s compassion, dedication, and commitment to providing opportunities and assistance to help them thrive—while preserving their culture.

Notably, the Lumad head is fully illustrated, symbolizing IMCLDC’s firm advocacy for equal opportunity, especially for the Lumad and for all those who are oppressed or marginalized.

Most importantly, all three heads reflect deep respect and gratitude for the Muslim community, whose practice of praying five times a day inspired the creation of IMCLDC. Their unwavering faith laid the spiritual foundation of the organization.

Ultimately, the logo conveys the strength, optimism, and unity of the corporation—demonstrating that, despite differences, the Tri-people of Mindanao are committed to working and living together as one. IMCLDC strives to be a source of inspiration, a symbol of hope, and a bridge toward a bountiful Mindanao.

Agriculture Modernization

Equipping agriculture with innovation and techniques to achieve halal readiness and certification.

Fostering agricultural trade and market integration for a sustainable halal community.

Trade Integration

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

Our Key Development Areas

Our efforts to transform Mindanao into a Halal Community Hub focus on two primary areas: infrastructure development and agriculture modernization. These strategic interventions are designed to prepare the agriculture industry to become Halal-ready and certified, supported by innovations, advanced techniques, and the necessary infrastructure. Through this integrated approach, we aim to realize our vision of making Mindanao a thriving Halal Community Hub.

I. Infrastructure Development

Targeted infrastructure development is essential to support Agricultural Halal Priority Industries, enabling robust agricultural trade and seamless market integration. This foundation will foster inclusive and sustainable growth of the Halal Community Hub in Mindanao.

a. Halal Science Centers

These centers will serve as hubs for Halal-related scientific research, product compliance verification, and the promotion of Halal knowledge and innovation. Through studies, seminars, and training programs, they will help embed Halal principles across products, services, and lifestyle.

b. Post-Harvest Facilities

We aim to enhance post-harvest systems by investing in modern facilities with adequate capacity and technology to reduce production losses and ensure the output of high-quality, Halal-certified processed products.

c.Halal-Certified Processing Plants

Building strategically located Halal-certified factories will allow for streamlined production and processing, enabling local Halal products to meet global market standards and increase export potential.

d. Farm-to-Market Roads

Improving road networks between farms and market centers will lower transportation costs, enhance logistical efficiency, and ensure the timely delivery of fresh and processed Halal goods from producers to processors and consumers.

II. Agriculture Modernization

Our goal is to modernize the agriculture industry across priority commodities to achieve sustainable growth and ensure readiness for Halal certification. Through strategic initiatives, we aim to build a resilient, productive, and Halal-compliant agricultural ecosystem in Mindanao.

a. Agricultural Capacity Building

Implement a variety of capability-building programs to:

  • Improve operational efficiency

  • Increase productivity

  • Enhance farm management and marketing practices

  • Integrate Halal standards into farming processes

b. Research & Development Initiatives

Invest in scientific research focused on:

  • Halal-compliant crop, livestock, and fishery development

  • Improving agricultural resilience against pests, diseases, and climate-related challenges

  • Boosting productivity and quality output

c. Sustainable Farm Mechanization

Promote the adoption of modern, eco-friendly farm machinery to:

  • Significantly increase productivity

  • Ensure environmental sustainability

  • Support more efficient cultivation practices

d. Development of Agricultural Halal Priority Industries

Work closely with partners across priority sectors such as:

  • Rice

  • Cacao

  • Coffee

  • Coco Sugar

  • High-Value Crops

  • Livestock

  • Fishery

Together, we will create a sustainable roadmap to strengthen these industries under Halal standards and unlock their full potential within domestic and global markets.
